What happens if I don’t switch my point of sale service from Ambur to Lightspeed?

Service and support for Ambur will no longer be offered after May of 2021. If you don’t switch to Lightspeed, you will still need to find a new POS solution. We understand that saving your data and finding a new POS might be challenging, and our team is available 24/7 to assist you during this transition.

What happens to my reports and sales after 5/3/2021?

We don’t recommend using Ambur after it has been retired. Service and support will no longer be offered after May of 2021. You deserve a robust, modern POS that is consistently being improved and updated. We can’t guarantee a smooth experience after Ambur’s retirement, so it’s best to export all of your data for safekeeping and switch to a new solution.

Will my account be shut off if I don’t transfer on time?

Will I receive a refund for the annual subscription for the months I have paid in advance?

Please be assured that a refund will be issued for an amount representing the unused balance of subscription fees.

Will I be able to transfer my inventory or past reports over to Lightspeed?

Because Lightspeed is a different, stronger platform, your inventory and reports are not able to be transferred automatically. You will need to input your information into your new Lightspeed account. It’s important to export your data from Ambur so that you have accurate records before you switch to Lightspeed.
